Scheme

Construction of a reinforced concrete circular slab, chemical containment bund, SAS pump station and hardstandings on a live United Utilities wastewater treatment plant on behalf of Byzak.

Scope of works

Shuttering, fixing of steel and placement of concrete to new circular slab for gas containment bag.  The slab was 18 metres in diameter and had a tolerance of +/- 5mm.

Shuttering , fixing of steel and placement of concrete to SAS pump station (5.5. m high walls) and chemical containment bunded slab.

Shuttering, reinforcement and placement of concrete to hardstanding to perimeter of gas bag slab as well as pipe supports/plinths and valve chambers.

Works were undertaken on a live WWTW.
